North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters

We are the Carpenters Union.

We represent more than 20,000 union members and their families, from 26 local unions in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters is chartered by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners – one of North America’s first unions, and still one of its most vibrant. The UBC represents more than half-a-million Cabinet Makers, Carpenters, Floor Coverers, Lathers, Millwrights, and Pile Drivers in the United States and Canada.

Being in the Carpenters Union means power in unity and strength in numbers – both locally and across the nation.

As a union, we are dedicated to protecting and elevating the economic and social condition of all workers. We partner with contractors to provide our industry the best-trained, most-productive, safest workforce available. We provide real careers. The superior productivity and skills that our members bring to the job reward us with pay and benefits that allow us to provide a better life for ourselves, our families and our communities – now and in the future.

Union Carpenters:
Better Training.
Better Safety and Performance.
Better Lives for Ourselves, Our Families and Our Communities.
